Imam-ul-Haq was accused of cheating with multiple women at the same time after the screenshots went viral.
PCB refuses to comment on the issue, terms it a ”personal issue”.
The controversy kicked off on Wednesday when a Twitter account posted screenshots of the conversations between Imam and the women.
The Pakistani Cricket Board (PCB) has refused to comment on the scandal surrounding the cricketer Imam-ul-Haq, terming it a personal issue. Imam was accused of lying, manipulating and cheating on multiple women at the same time.
Imam became topic of the town on Wednesday when a Twitter account posted screenshots of alleged conversations between Imam and the women. Wanting to stay anonymous, the women said that he kept lying that he is single the whole time while being engaged with multiple women.
“So apparently Mr. @ImamUlHaq12 was dating 7 to 8 (that we know of) women and kept using them and manipulating them. He kept telling them the whole time how he’s single”, said the poster.
The woman further claimed that Imam was lying and manipulating at least three girls at the same time while he was on Pakistan’s tour of South Africa in January and February in the ongoing year.
“None of the 3 girls knew about each other,” she added.
The woman also posted a few pictures with the cricketer, saying that she also met him multiple times in South Africa. She said that it needs to end since he has manipulated and coerced many women and no one else should fall prey to his exploitive ways.
“Far too many women have been manipulated and taken advantage of. This needs to come to an end,” she added.
While Imam-ul-Haq decided to stay silent in the controversy, the board has also distanced itself, saying it is a matter in cricketer’s personal domain.
