Amid the political atmosphere blowing at the maximum pace, Senator Siraj ul Haq claimed that he voted for Sadiq Sanjrani following an ‘order from the top’.
Recent Senate elections have raised many questions on the credibility of Senate, as PTI’s Imran Khan told a bold of taking action against the lawmakers who sold their votes in the Senate elections.
Later, Siraj blamed KPK CM Pervez Khattak on calling him prior to Senate elections to sought JI’s votes for their nominee. He added that on asking about the name, Khattak said that he was not aware of the name but these are the orders from the top.
On the allegations put on Khattak, he responded rejecting them. He said that those putting allegations on him can go on but he neither bribed someone nor presented any offer. He said that the people named swear by Quran that they voted uninfluenced but then where did the votes come from? Here is what he had to say:
