Route, cost, info: PIA announces special flights to the holy city of Najaf
Passengers can carry luggage weighing 30 kilograms.
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced special flights to the holy city of Najaf.
According to a spokesperson of PIA, the airline will operate four flights from the 15th of October to the 17th of October. The fare of one side, from Lahore to Najaf, will be Rs.49,000. Meanwhile, the cost of the flight from Karachi to Najafwill will be Rs.39,000.

Previously, the national flag bearer had to cancel all the flights scheduled for Najaf and Baghdad for Arbaeen. It was further announced that the passengers could get a refund of their tickets without any deduction.
The flights were canceled due to the second wave of the coronavirus in Iraq. The government had to withdraw the special permission granted for PIA flights.
