To ensure timely check-ins due to the coronavirus restrictions, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has asked its travelers to come earlier.
On Twitter, PIA announced the new check-in timings. It told passengers to come within the given time to avoid any confusion and inconvenience.

According to PIA spokesman Abdullah Khan, this has been done while keeping in view the SOPs for social distancing, health checks and screening measures at the airport. It will help maintain the on-time departure of flights without any delays.
For domestic flights, travelers are required to arrive 45 minutes before departure. Meanwhile, for travelers on international flights, they have to come at least 75 minutes before departure. Passengers who come late than the given time will not be accommodated in any way.
This decision has been taken to avoid clustering and over-crowding of people at the time of lodging and to comply with the SOPs. This will help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
