The production team of Diriliş: Ertuğrul, along with Celal Al (The actor who played Abdur Rehman Alp) and the producer of the influential show, had a hearty dinner with Pakistani celebrities this Thursday in Islamabad. The Turkish show’s team was previously welcomed by Adnan Siddiqui and Humayun Saeed.

Various national celebrities attended the cheerful event, which was hosted by Ammara Hakim, the producer of The Legend of Maula Jatt. Faisal Qureshi, Imran Abbas, Yasir Jaswal, Adnan Siddiqui, Humayun Saeed, and Ahmad Ali Akbar were among those celebrities.

Earlier on the delegation also met Adnan and Humayun. The Pakistani actors have partnered up with Tekdin Films and TRT productions. According to them, this will add a fresh touch to Pakistani media content.

The Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz and the Chairman Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir Shahryar Afridi were also present during the get-together.

Following these, the show’s team also met with PM Imran Khan. The press release regarding the meeting stated that a  future collaboration between the two countries’ industries to make a project based on the khilafat Movement was discussed.

The PM also stressed upon portraying the golden period of Muslim rule of the subcontinent. He also highlighted the need to inform the youth about this glorious rule, to avert the negative perception that the media has formed in their minds.

The PM added that the local culture and values need to be encouraged through media content and that the industry will benefit from such content.

The Turkish team seem to enjoy their visit to Pakistan and have mentioned it on their social media. They wish Pakistan and Turkey’s brotherhood to prosper even further.
