[IN PICTURES] Milad ceremony for Bhaktawar Bhutto’s wedding held in Karachi
Bakhtawar's Nikkah will take place on 29 January, whereas the Baraat is set to take place on 30 January.
KARACHI: A Milad ceremony was held at the Bilawal House in Karachi in honor of Bakhtawar Bhutto’s wedding. The Milad has marked the beginning of the series of events that will lead to the marriage.
At the end of the event, prayers were made for Ms. Bhutto-Zardari’s marital journey and its success.
The attendees were seen adorning traditional eastern wear, along with face masks. A portrait of the martyred Benazir Bhutto was placed in the hall.

The Schedule for the Wedding
The official schedule for Ms. Bhutto-Zardari’s wedding was announced by the Bilawal House on Friday. According to one of the spokespersons, a Milad ceremony was to be held on 24 January at Bilawal House, while three days later, on 27 January, a casual Mehndi function will take place.
Bakhtawar’s Nikkah will take place on 29 January, whereas the Baraat is set to take place on 30 January.
Around 300 guests will become a part of the events.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the bride’s brother, has planned to suspend his political activities for a week for Bakhtawar’s wedding.
