Along with a ban on public gatherings and strict guidelines to take care of personal hygiene, health experts have also suggested complete social distancing to control the spread of COVID-19. As the basic medium of transfer of the virus is person-to-person interaction, it is advised to avoid shaking hands, hug or proceed with any kind of physical contact.
Known and widely-followed religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel met Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Monday. However, both avoided shaking hands and greeted each other from a distance amid Coronavirus pandemic. PM Khan urged Maula Tariq Jameel to educate people about the significance of social distancing and advise them to avoid religious gatherings. Maulana assured him cooperation on all possible fronts.
