IN PICTURES: KP government completes the construction of first-ever provincial motorway in Swat

To make the province financially self-sustainable, reforms and projects are being carried out across KP.

The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has completed the construction of its first-ever provincial motorway in Swat and it is now fully operational for citizens.

 

Swat Motorway is a flagship project of the KP government. It is expected to help boost international and local tourism in Kumrat, Kalam, Malam Jabba, and Chitral.

The newly-built motorway will also generate jobs for locals and contribute to the national economy. The provincial government plans to turn the route into a trade corridor in the near future.

To make the province financially self-sustainable, reforms and projects are being carried out across KP. The authorities are committed to promoting industrialization and attract investors in the province. This newly-built motorway will help them achieve the goal by providing them with a conducive environment with strong infrastructure.

  • Still incomplete at parts. Stop propaganda please. Nevertheless brilliant achievement. Roads and motorways are necessary for the uplift of the population, therefore, a network of highways were build in America for regional integration.

  • It is so a good work of KP gov. But gov should pay head on southern districts also. D.ikhan , Lakki Marwat, Bannu ,Karak . They must also have such infrastructure and development.

  • Great achievements by KP Gov’t.
    Hopefully they will also start and complete DI Khan to Peshawar moterway as soon as possible.
