Pictures: UAE envoy gifts a furnished house to lady fruit vendor in Islamabad to show appreciation

Hamad Obaid Alzaabi's generous gesture has touched many hearts.

Yasmin asked for help after which, Ambassador Ibrahim supported her.

 

UAE’s ambassador to Pakistan Hamad Obaid Alzaabi has gifted a fully furnished house to a woman fruit seller in Islamabad to show his generous support. He fulfilled the fruit sellar’s wishes with the help of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charitable and Humanitarian Establishment.

UAE Embassy took to Twitter to share heartwarming pictures of the fruit sellar Yasmin in her new home.

‘H.E. Hamad Obaid Alzaabi, Ambassador with the generous support of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charitable and Humanitarian Est. fulfils the wishes of a Pakistani fruit seller widow Yasmin by building a fully furnished home for her family of 4 children in – the embassy’s social media handle wrote. 

Speaker of the House at Provincial Youth Assembly, Jalal Sherazi, spoke about the plight of Yasmin and her struggles after her husband’s death.

“She is Yasmeen, she has three daughters and a son studying in class 2 and her husband died. As she has no other option, she is struggling to feed her kids.”

In another Tweet, the embassy also shared the appreciation for Yasmin, and her inspiring story of raising four children alone as a widow.

”The Pakistani widow Yasmine, been supported by the Embassy in and highlighted her inspiring story for raising 4 school going children by selling fruit after the death of her husband reflecting a wonderful model for Pakistani women

Reacting to the news, Sherazi tweeted:

“Life is all about humanity and service of the masses. Alhamdulillah, after my tweet on her struggling life, the (UAE) … the government finally built a home for her.”
