PM Khan launches financial inclusion strategy enterprise for poverty alleviation
Prime Minister Imran Khan applauded his assistant on poverty and social safety, Dr Sania Nishtar, for her hard work and remarkable efforts.
Imran Khan, Prime Minister of Pakistan, recently launched (FIS) financial inclusion strategy enterprise under the anti-poverty plan of the government known as Ehsas programme.
The opening ceremony of this newly launched Ehsas programme was attended by various people, including Queen Máxima, UNSGSA (UN’s Secretary General’s Special Advocate for finance and development, Dr Sania Nishtar, PM’s Assistant on Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety, Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, PM’s Advisor on Finance, Dr Reza Baqir, Governor of State Bank of Pakistan, and many others eminent people hailing from the finance background.
One Woman One Bank Account scheme:
The financial incorporation under the Ehsas anti-poverty programme includes One Woman One Bank Account scheme, Ehsas-Kifalat, bank accounts for daily wage workers, access to applying loans for the informal workers, and more.
Prime Minister Imran Khan, while addressing at the Ehsas Financial Inclusion Strategy initiative, said that a lot of efforts are being made by the government to alleviate poverty from the country, which includes Ehsas Financial Inclusion Programme.
Apart from that, Prime Minister Imran Khan applauded his assistant on poverty and social safety, Dr Sania Nishtar, for her hard work and remarkable efforts to set up all these amazing initiatives under Pakistan’s anti-poverty scheme.
