For the first time in Pakistan, Prime Minister to interview potential candidates for the new ISI DG position
It is pertinent to note that previous prime ministers have conducted no interviews to induct the new DG ISI in the past.

In some unusual developments, Prime Minister Imran Khan is himself taking interviews of the candidates shortlisted for the post of the new Director-General (DG) of Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), one of the most powerful offices in Pakistan.
These developments come in the aftermath of a meeting of the parliamentary committee of the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) at Parliament House.
During the meeting, the premier assured worried PTI leaders that the issue of the appointment of the new ISI chief had been settled by him and the Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
He also assured them that the incumbent government would complete its five-year term.
In the aftermath of the meeting, the Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Fawad Chaudhry, informed the media that the notification of the new ISI DG’s appointment would be issued in a couple of days.
Chaudhry dismissed that the prime minister would take the interviews of the potential replacements of the current ISI DG.
However, he affirmed that the premier would meet all of the candidates face-to-face for the slot of the new ISI DG.
It is pertinent to note that previous prime ministers have conducted no interviews to induct the new DG ISI in the past.
Instead, the official who is selected to be the new ISI chief pays a goodwill gesture visit to the prime minister after his appointment.
It is pertinent to note that Prime Minister Imran Khan has also used interviews as a medium to induct the new prime minister for the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
The premier questioned the potential candidates for the AJK premiership about their future strategies and vision on the environment, tourism, border issues with India, and their plans about the region.
According to a federal minister, the premier was not satisfied with the interviews of the candidates for the AJK premiership, saying that the country “lacks having people with leadership skills.”

This totka is leaked from Bani Gala to give Imran a face saving after he was embarrassed by the Army.
Corrupt opposition never dragged corrupts on road/jails but IK did, they also never actually gave “Vote ko izzat”, but Imran Khan is doing that.
Conclusion : People need to distinguish between corrupt dramaybaaz politicians and a real statesman.
