PM wants Siemens to initiate skills training programs for Pakistani engineers under the” Hunarmand Jawan” program

PM said that youth development is a top priority of the Government and that Pakistan appreciates Siemens's long association with our energy sector

Prime Minister Imran Khan, met with the Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Joe Kaeser, on Wednesday. During the meeting, the Prime Minister encouraged Siemens to introduce skills training programmes for Pakistani engineers under their skills for all program” Hunarmand Jawan.”

An Invitation To Pakistan

Siemens is a world-renowned company that operates to innovate electrification, automation, and digitization. PM also extended an invitation to the CEO of Siemens to visit Pakistan.

PM office Media Wing in a press release said that CEO Siemens had sought out the Prime Minister at Davos on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual meeting.

Youth Development Is A Top Priority

Prime Minister expressed his desire for Siemens to kick-start these programmes for Pakistani youth. PM further emphasized that youth development is a top priority of the Government and that Pakistan appreciates Siemens’s long association with our energy sector.

Siemens could prove to be an excellent asset for skills development in youth, which would ultimately lead to employment generation and economic growth.

Advisor on Commerce Abdul Razaq Dawood, SAPM Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari, Ambassador at Large on Investments Ali Jehangir Siddiqui, also attended the meeting.
