All of a sudden, people who looted the country’s wealth for decades have become people’s representatives.
Meanwhile, reacting to the statements of PPP’s chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Awan said before seeking democracy in Pakistan Bilawal should establish democracy in his party.
Last week the special court has convicted Musharraf of high treason and sentenced him to death. However, no reaction has been seen from PML-N over Musharraf’s conviction.
Special Assistant to the PM on information and broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan questions the Sharif family’s silence over the conviction.
While talking to media Awan said, “The Nawaz Sharif government had filed the high treason case against Pervez Musharraf in 2013 but his silence after former army chief’s conviction suggests that the Sharif’s are in politics for personal gain.”
No idea how to respond
Firdous further added Sharif family has no idea how to respond to this burning issue. Meanwhile, reacting to the statements of PPP’s chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Awan said that before seeking democracy in Pakistan Bilawal should establish democracy in his party.
All of a sudden, people who looted the country’s wealth for decades have become people’s representatives, Awan. “The PPP leadership remembers Benazir Bhutto only on her death anniversary or ahead of elections to get votes.”
She further criticizes Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on calling PM Khan “selected”. “How come those who have been brought into politics on recommendations can call the prime minister selected,” Awan.
