A Malaysian automaker named Proton unveiled the Saga, a 1300cc sedan with the lowest price tag in the segment, on the 4th of April 2021.
The vehicle has been offered in three separate versions, including regular manual, standard automatic, and luxury automatic.
The price tag of less than PKR 2 million on its basic variant makes Proton Saga the cheapest sedan in Pakistan.
In Pakistan, Al-Haj, the FAW automobile makers in Pakistan, has collaborated with Malaysian auto giant Proton to launch the car. The company says it has an annual production capacity of 25,000 units.
Proton Pakistan will also be selling 100 limited Saga R3 – 1332cc in both manual and automatic transmissions. The manual car is priced at PKR 2.15 million, while the automatic car is priced at PKR 2.45 million.
However, the company said that it would sell the cars after a lucky draw. It will let people book cars on the company’s website, and after ten days, a lucky draw will be held.
