PSL 2022: Will Muhammad Amir leave Karachi Kings?

The Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2022 is just around the corner and the rumours have already started pouring in. According to journalist Qadir Khawaja, fast bowler Muhammad Amir has decided to part ways with Karachi Kings.
The journalist has claimed that due to differences with Karachi Kings management, the left arm pacer has decided to leave Karachi Kings. However, the journalist has now deleted his tweet.
In another tweet, Qadir Khawaja clarified that the cricketer has never played cricket for money. He added that due to difference with the Kings’ management, Amir has decided against continuing with the team any further.

Now, Muhammad Amir has denied the rumours. In a reply to the journalist, the left arm pacer questioned the source of Qadir. However, Qadir Khawaja is confident that the news communicated to him by his source is authentic.
Just recently, Amir along with five other players – Shahid Afridi, Kamran Akmal, Shoaib Malik, and Mohammad Hafeez – was demoted from Platinum to the Diamond category. Kamran Akmal is also unhappy over his demotion.
The wicketkeeper-batter in a tweet said that he is surprised. He added that the management should reconsider their decision as he is the second highest run scorer in the tournament.
