PSL 7: Sikandar Raza exposes James Faulkner’s lies about non-payment

Sikandar Raza

The Pakistan-born Zimbabwean cricketer Sikandar Raza has exposed Australian all-rounder James Faulkner lies about non-payment. The cricketer took to his Twitter account to share his views about the controversy.

Sikandar Raza wrote that payment has never been an issue in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). He added that no overseas player has ever complained about not being paid.

Furthermore, the Zimbabwean cricketer also lauded the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for hosting the tournament successfully in Pakistan. Regarding the Australia tour of Pakistan, he stated that this incident will not jeopardise the series.

James Faulkner: A habitual offender

The Australian cricketer has been involved in multiple controversies in the past. In 2014, the all-rounder made hateful remarks about the West Indies cricket team. “I don’t particularly like them. Nobody in particular,” he had said.

In 2015, he was fined £10,000 and banned from driving in the UK for two years after pleading guilty to drink driving.

Just last year, he had to say goodbye to his Big Bash League (BBL) team Hobart Hurricanes over not getting his desired amount of money.
