PSL 7: Here’s how much money the best performers were awarded

The HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) came to an end last night with the Lahore Qalandars winning their first tournament ever. The Qalandars defeated the Multan Sultans by 42 runs to clinch the title.

The PSL keeps getting better and bigger every year, which is why Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) also increased the winning prize this year. According to reports, the PSL witnessed about 200-percent increase in sponsorships and broadcasting rights.

Here’s how much the winning team and best performing individuals earned:

Lahore Qalandars – Winners

The winners of the HBL PSL 2022 were awarded a prized money of PKR 80 million, which is 5 million more than last year.

Multan Sultans – Runners-up

The runners-up of this year’s tournament won PKR 32 million, PKR 2 million more than the last time.

Umpire of the Tournament:

Ahsan Raza won the HBL PSL Umpire of the Tournament award. He was awarded PKR 3.5 million prize.

Emerging Player of the Tournament:

Lahore Qalandars’ youngster, Zaman Khan, was named the Emerging Player of the Tournament. He was awarded PKR 3.5 million prize.

Spirit of Cricket Award:

Multan Sultans’ captain and wicket-keeper batter Mohammad Rizwan won the PSL Spirit of Cricket Award. He got PKR 3.5 million as a reward.

Fielder of the tournament:

Khushdil Shah was named as the fielder of the tournament and got PKR 3.5 million as reward.

All-Rounder of the Tournament:

Khushdil Shah had a great tournament with both ball and the bat. He was named PSL 7 All-Rounder of the Tournament along with a PKR 3.5 million cheque.

Wicket-keeper of the Tournament:

Mohammad Rizwan had a good time both in front and behind the wicket. He was named the Wicket-keeper of the Tournament and received PKR 3.5 million.

Bowler of the Tournament:

Islamabad United’s skipper Shadab Khan was named as the Bowler of the Tournament for his match winning performances. He received PKR 3.5 million as a reward.

Batter of the Tournament:

Fakhar Zaman was awarded PSL Batter of the Tournament as he scored the most runs in the tournament. The left handed batter got a prize of PKR. 3.5 million.

Player of the Tournament:

Mohammad Rizwan completed a hat-trick of awards during the PSL as he was also named Player of the Tournament. He was given PKR 3.5 million.
