According to reports, sales of the car were impacted by those of Swift and Alto.
Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has decided to discontinue its top-selling car, Cultus. According to reports, Cultus will be discontinued in the coming months.
Data from Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) shows that PSMC sold more than 9,800 units of Alto in March 2022. However, in April, the number dropped to 5,000. An official statement is yet to be issued by PSMC regarding the recent development.
The new Cultus
The new Cultus was first launched in 2017, along with three variants, the VX, VXL, and VXR. Since its launch, it has dominated the market in the 1000cc category. The car offers a series of features, like an immobilizer, keyless entry, power windows, airbags, and a power steering among others. A few months back, the company delayed production of the car due to a shortage of airbags.
