Punjab announces summer vacations 2022 schedule for schools

The Punjab Education Department (PED) has announced the schedule of summer vacations across the province amid the extreme heat. The summer break will commence in school in Punjab from June 1.

The PED has also asked schools across the province to assign summer vacations work to students before 31st May. Furthermore, they have also been asked to release the results from grades 1 to 8 before the summer break begins.

The summer break will continue until July 31st. Moreover, the new academic year will begin on August 1.

Student will get the new curriculum during the vacations in government schools. The notification in this regard will be issued next week.

Earlier, Sindh had also announced the schedule of summer vacations in the province. Schools in the province will observe summer holidays from June 1 to July 31.
