Punjab Education Ministry to shutdown private unregistered schools in seven days
Private Schools of Punjab to provide fresh fee vouchers according to the conditions provided by District Register Authority (DRAs).

- Parents of the children are also allowed to visit DEA’s daily from 3 pm to 4 pm to register complaints.
- Recently the schools’ department conducted a survey, the result shows that only in Lahore out of 5000, 2300 schools were unregistered.
Dr. Murad Raas, Punjab Education Minister said, only seven days have been given to private schools of Punjab to provide fresh fee vouchers according to the conditions provided by District Register Authority (DRAs).
In January 2017, issued an order about unregistered private schools of Punjab.
On Thursday, while addressing the press conference at the DGPR office he further said, registration of the school will be canceled if they do not comply with the orders.
“The next step would be sealing the campuses,” he warned. Unregistered schools have already been issued warning letters with a period of seven days to follow instructions provided by the government.
Online Complaint Management System
Parents of the children are also allowed to visit DEA’s daily from 3 pm to 4 pm to register complaints, whereas they are required to register a complaint online first at the Complaint Management System (CMS) office in prescribed timings.
The government of Pakistan is trying everything possible to implement the court’s order about private schools, said Punjab Education Minister.
Unregistered Schools in Lahore
Furthermore, Minister said, “Recently the schools’ department conducted a survey, the result shows that only in Lahore out of 5000, 2300 schools were unregistered”.
He said, “Transfers on six categories (wedlock, marriage, divorce, disabled, widow and mutual) for schoolteachers were being opened from Monday and would remain open throughout the year”.
Rationalization Process
As a result of the annual school statistics rationalization system was previously suspended but by mid-November 2019, the process will commence again.
