Punjab Government To Provide Free Education To Children of Martyred Policemen
The government of Punjab has decided to provided free education to children of martyred cops. This was announced by the Chief Minister of Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi.
He was addressing a ceremony held to honour those policemen who lost their lives in the line of duty. Pervaiz Elahi stated that his government will soon bring a law which will enable the kids of martyred policemen to get free education.
“The government will also create employment opportunities for the children,” he added.
Furthermore, CM Punjab announced to increase the compensation amount for martyred cops. Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi adde: “The government will provide new vehicles for police patrolling.”
He criticised the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML N) government for ignoring the sacrifices made by the police. “The nation will never forget the sacrifices of police force and will continue to remember them with great regard and honour,” he said.
