Punjab registers ‘Most Expensive Car’ yet. Can you guess the tax paid on it?

On Monday, the Punjab Excise and Taxation Department in Lahore created history by registering the most expensive luxury car – The Lamborghini.

According to sources, the Lamborghini costs a whopping Rs. 115 million. The registration fee of the car is an additional Rs. 4.532 million.

It should be noted that initially, the provincial department refused to register the luxury vehicle. Explaining the reason for declining registration, the provincial department said:

Our system does not recognize purchases over a hundred million.

However, after much consideration, the department amended the system to register the Lamborghini.
