No Mask, No Service: Punjab Police declines help to anyone not wearing a mask

The Punjab Police have announced that they will not be providing services to people who don’t take the pandemic seriously and are not following proper SOPs.

Taking the necessary precautionary measures is absolutely mandatory, as the virus is reaching its peak with thousands of new cases being reported every day.

Despite, the obviously worsening situation, there is a vast majority of the public that is still not taking COVID-19 seriously and think of it as a hoax.

Pakistan currently has 148,921 reported cases of the coronavirus. Out of these, 56,390 have recovered and 2,839 have lost their lives to the novel virus.

The central government has predicted that the cases might reach 1.2 million by the end of July if the same situation persists.
