The Punjab Excise and Taxation Department has just broken its previous record of registering the most expensive car in the province. The authority registered a Mercedes AMG G63 – which has price of Rs13-Crore, 19-lacs – in Rs53 lacs, making it the most expensive car to be ever registered in the province.

The number AEG-063 has been allotted to Punjab’s most expensive car. TT

Previously Registered Most Expensive Car in Punjab:

Last year in October, the Punjab excise and taxation department registered a Lamborghini Huracan Spyder for Rs4.5million.

The owner of the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder faced some difficulties in the registration of the car as the Punjab excise and taxation department’s system wasn’t capable of registering such an expensive car.

Later, the system was upgraded and the car was registered. Previously, the department’s system was capable of registering cars worth up to Rs100 million.
