After Ahmed Shehzad, Ramiz Raja Jr Levels Serious Allegations Against Waqar Younis
After Ahmed Shehzad, another discarded international Pakistani cricketer has come out with serious allegations against former head coach Waqar Younis. This time, its Ramiz Raja Jr who has accused the former fast bowler of ruining his career.
According to the right handed batter, Waqar Younis treated Karachi based cricketers differently than the ones from Punjab. He added that during his time with the national cricket team, he faced rude behaviour of the then head coach.
While speaking to a local news channel, Ramiz Raja Jr said: “He taunted me a lot just because I belongs to Karachi. That tour became horrible for me and I just wanted to go back home.”
The cricketer went on to add that he was asked by Waqar Younis to learn Punjabi if he wants to survive in the national cricket team, besides not letting him train with Karachi-based fast bowler Sohail Khan.
“Once I asked him to go for training with Sohail Bhai. He refused and said ‘this is not Karachi team’,” Ramiz concluded.
Earlier, Ahmed Shehzad had made similar statement against Waqar Younis. He had also accused him of ruining his international career.
