Ramiz Raja Names The Four Best Young Players Of PSL
The Pakistan Super League has had provided Pakistan cricket with amazing talent ever since its inception.
Players like Shadab Khan, Faheem Ashraf, Fakhar Zaman, Shaheen Shah Afridi and others have managed to earn a place for themselves in the national cricket team following impressive performances in the Pakistan’s premier domestic T20 tournament.
Although, the PSL event was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic this year was no different. We got to see some exciting young players stepping up for their respective teams in big matches.
In a YouTube video, former Pakistani cricketer and current cricket commentator, Ramiz Raja, has named the top four players of this season’s PSL. The four players Raja termed as the best in PSL this season are; Haider Ali, Zeeshan Ashraf, Azam Khan and Khusdil Shah.
About Haider Ali:
‘‘Haider has immense talent and has made a name for himself in his first season of the PSL. However, he needs to bring consistency in his performance and his ideal position is number three in the batting order. He has big quality shots in his armour and doesn’t need to improvise much as his power-hitting base is quite strong,’’ Ramiz Raja Said.
About Zeeshan Ashraf:
“Zeeshan Ashraf scored two fifties and had a great beginning this season but tapered off by the end. He certainly has the talent and someone you can work on as he has big shots and plays with a carefree approach,” the former player said.
About Azam Khan:
“I think Azam Khan has immense batting talent. However, he needs to reduce his weight if he wants to represent Pakistan. His calm demeanour and confidence in a tense situation has impressed me the most. He reads the match situation really well and doesn’t get bothered by bowler’s reputation,” said Ramiz Raja.
About Khusdil Shah:
“Khushdil Shah is a natural timer of the ball. He plays down the order where you need to go for big shots and he didn’t disappoint,” concluded Raja.
