It should be noted that Ramiz Raja had earlier revealed that he received serious death threats while speaking at a meeting of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly. “I had a serious death threat. I purchased a vehicle keeping the threat in mind,” he said.
The PCB chairman had told the committee that if he comes in a bullet proof car, it will be due to a death threat. Regarding his salary, Ramiz Raja said that he hasn’t taken a penny as the PCB’s boss.
“I haven’t taken any unnecessary perks so far as chairman. I haven’t taken an entertainment allowance and spent just 2.5 lac rupees on my official tours as of yet,” he had said.
