Ramiz Raja Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ramiz Raja will be working for free as the cricket board’s boss for the next three years. Raja revealed this during a meeting held at the National High Performance Center with club owners under the jurisdiction of the Central Punjab Cricket Association.

“I have joined the cricket board at ‘zero money.’ For three years, I will not get a single rupee,” Ramiz revealed.

Furthermore, the Chairman PCB also stressed the need of focusing on the grass-root level.  Raja further stated: “We need quality pitches so players are technically stronger and curating top-quality pitches should be your top priority. The PCB will provide you technical and financial support.”

Moreover, Ramiz Raja assured that  during his time as the Chairman PCB, “merit will not be thrown in the trash.”

Earlier, details of the salary of former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PCB, Wasim Khan, were published in a local media outlet. However, Wasim Khan rejected the reports of enjoying hefty perks.

“An article was published in the Daily Jang very recently stating that I received $900 in daily allowances on England tours and $600 on other tours. The figures quoted are frankly ridiculous,” he had said.
