Government orders to build ramps in markets for specially-abled people

The provincial government wants to provide equal opportunities to the disabled.

The district administration has ordered all the banks, shopping malls, educational institutions, and markets to construct ramps to accommodate and facilitate specially-abled and elderly people.

Additional deputy commissioner Baidullah Shah called a meeting of the managers of shopping malls, markets, and banks to inform them about the new orders of the provincial government.

He discussed that physically impaired people were unable to shop and visit government buildings due to the deficiency of ramps. The provincial government, as per him, wants to provide equal opportunities to the disabled, which could not be done without full cooperation from the management of banks, educational institutions, commercial plazas, and shopping malls.
