Rapists handed 104 years in jail by anti-terrorism court in Sargodha
FIR (first information report) was filed at the Sajid Shaheed station on November 17, 2017.
Culprits accused of raping female students, filming them, making revenge porn videos, blackmailing them and minting money.
They studied at the same institute where the victims did.
The culprits would befriend victims, win their trust, then rape them and film them.
An anti-terrorism court in Sargodha has handed over a collective jail sentence of 104 years to three rapists. They have also been ordered to pay Rs. 1 million as fine for harassing, raping female students, filming them, making revenge porn videos, blackmailing them and minting money from the survivors.
Judge Ateequr Rehman presided over the hearing in a special anti-terrorism court in Sargodha. The accused Adnan Javed, Azhar Bilal, and Atif Raza were proven guilty and were given respective sentences of 44 years, 47 years, and 18 months in jail. They were also given fines worth Rs. 400,000, Rs. 400,000, and Rs. 150,000. The predators were shifted to district jail consequent to their sentencing.
As per the details available through police, the FIR (first information report) was filed at the Sajid Shaheed station on November 17, 2017. Wherein Adnan Javed, Azhar Bilal, and Atif Raza were named in the report, linked with a case involving rape, sexual harassment, revenge porn, and blackmailing.
Sargodha police added that five students had recorded their statements at the time when the case was registered. The rapists were also studying at the same institutions where the survivors did. The gang used to first befriend their potential victim, lure them, win their trust and then rape them. Not just it, they would also film the ordeal and blackmail them later, minting money from them.
