Rashid Khan terms PSL among top three leagues across the glob
Here's what Rashid Khan has to say about the standard of Pakistan Super League
Afghan leg-spinner Rahsid Khan has established himself as one the most dangerous bowlers in the world cricket. The 23-year-old has been playing in almost every T20 league across the globe.
The leg-spinner is representing Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Although, Khan hasn’t taken as many wickets in the PSL 2022 as one would expect but he has been one of the most economical bowlers in the tournament
During an interview with Cricket Pakistan, the Afghan cricketer talked about his experience of playing in the Pakistan Super League. The Lahore Qalandars’ spinner said that he is “thoroughly enjoying” the HBL PSL 7.
“I am enjoying it thoroughly especially since we have performed well as well. Players are available for selection and everyone has also contributed with their performances too.”
Khan was also all praise for Shaheen Shah Afridi’s captaincy. He said that the Qalandars’ new captain listens to everyone which is always good to see. Regarding Fakhar Zaman, the leg spinner stated that watching him play is “quite enjoyable.” He added that Zaman’s form is vital for the team.
According to Rashid Khan, the PSL is among the top three leagues across the globe.
“The PSL standard is unbelievable. The league is definitely in the top-three leagues across the globe. Almost all franchises have pacers who bowl at over 140 kmph and as a batter, that is a huge task. I am looking forward to playing in Lahore because the Pakistan crowd is equally brilliant,” he added.
