REACTION VIDEO | Indians react to Bushra Ansari’s Indo-Pak peace anthem ‘Humsaye Maa Jaye’

When the political escalations escalate between India & Pakistan and the war drums can be heard everywhere, the artist community always takes the lead to promote peace. The future of humanity lies in love and harmony, and particularly it is crucial for the development in the subcontinent.

After the tensions further crossed the red line following Pulwama attack that lead to a new wave of hate and military action as part of BJP’s election campaign, Pakistani artists reacted responsibility and bravely called out Indian Bollywood showing how they despise their abhorrent stance.

The song Humsaye Maa Jaye, whose description describes it as “a music video that goes beyond war and borders to the hearts of people living so close, and yet so far away” speaks about the rising tensions, calling it a political gimmick for vested interests. The two neighbours exchange dialogues on a number of issues, saying that while the people of both the countries are suffering from deprivation of basic necessities like food, water and electricity, the leaders are chanting slogans of war.
The song received a lot of love from Pakistan, and also India. The peace song had an amazing impact on the hearts of the people, who reject hate and now want to see the end to the never-ending hatred between the arch-rivals.
