Revenue Collection Increases By 16pc As FBR Collects Rs. 320 Billion In October
FBR maintained an increase of 16% and 25% domestic tax over last year.
FBR or Federal Board of Revenue has collected Rs. 320 billion revenues during October, it has maintained an increase of 16% and 25% domestic tax over last year.
Syed Shabbar Zaidi, FBR Chairman, told on Twitter how the development was made possible after paying attention to the negative aspect of import contraction of around Rs. 50 billion.
He also stated that FBR has seen that withholding on commission payments to insurance agents aren’t being made firmly, contrary to the requirements under the law by some insurance companies. Actions are needed to avoid penal and adverse results.
