‘Runs kaha karu, ghar pe?’ – Ahmed Shehzad lashes out at Shahid Afridi on live TV

The relationship between Shahid Afridi and Ahmed Shehzad has been part of the news ever since the two shared a dressing room together. Recently, the two appeared on a sports show together on a local news channel.

Shahid Afridi recalled how he supported the opener during his time as the captain of the national cricket team. The former captain revealed that the reason behind him backing Shehzad was that another opener of his calibre was nowhere to be found in Pakistan.

Furthermore, the former all-rounder also stated the Ahmed Shehzad was continuously criticised because of him supporting the batter. He advised the opener to enjoy his life.

“I want you to score runs, enjoy your life with your wife and kids. Allah has made life beautiful for you”, Afridi said.

However, Ahmed Shehzad didn’t like Afridi’s suggestion and asked him where would he score runs when he keeps getting denied the platform.

“I keep saying that. I want to score runs, but at least don’t deny me the platforms where I can score. I will ask you when sides in PSL want to pick me, who comes in and says no? You tell me, where do I score runs? At my home? (Runs kaha karu, ghar pe?)
