Salman Iqbal Reveals The Possible Schedule Of The Remaining PSL Matches
Karachi Kings owner, Salman Iqbal, has revealed the possible schedule for the remaining 3 matches of Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Talking to BBC, Salman Iqbal said that the two semi final and final of the PSL might be played after the ICC T20 World.
“It will happen this year, we are looking for the six or seven-day window, predominantly after the world cup (T20) in Australia, I think that will be the best time,” said Mr. Salman.
Yesterday just hours before the first semi final, the PCB had announced to postpone the tournament with immediate effect after a player, who had left Pakistan a few days ago, showed symptoms of COVID-19. PCB had also announced to reschedule the remaining PSL games.
Following the decision, the PSL owners had thrown their weight behind the PCB for the decision.
“Sad but a responsible end to the #PSLV2020 . Thank you so much #pakistan and @KarachiKingsARY fans. I would like to thank my whole team , my support staff and my coaching staff,” Kings’ owner said in a tweet.

The Peshawar Zalmi owner, Javed Afridi, said that he personally wanted the PSL to continue during the initial discussions in morning to call it off. However, “After reviewing the situation altogether I believe it’s right in favour of everyone involved in @thePSLt20.
PSL 2020 to postpone as state of emergency is declared in the country as a precautionary measure against the ongoing Novel Corona Virus, COVID 19 situation in Pakistan. After reviewing the situation altogether I believe it’s right in favour of everyone involved in @thePSLt20.
