Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan, has stepped forward to help as many as 25,000 daily-wage workers of the film industry.

In an unprecedented move, the Bollywood megastar will be directly transferring the amount to the bank accounts of these 25,000 daily wagers during the lockdown in India.

In a report published in an Indian publication, the Dabangg star had asked for the bank account details of the daily wagers from the Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees (FWICE).

According to the General Secretary of FWICE, Ashok Dubey, officials from Salman Khan Films contacted him and asked for the details of the daily wage workers.
