Indian actress Sanjana Galrani has become the topic of discussion online as evidence of her secret conversion to Islam goes viral.
According to the documents being shared online, the actress, widely known for her work in the Telugu and Tamil industry, converted to Islam two years ago. She also changed her name to ‘Mahira’. Previously, her name was Archana Manohar Galrani, with Sanjana being her stage name.

Sanjana’s Muslim identity was revealed during a drug scandal probe. A picture of her conversion certificate, which was provided by Darul Uloom Shah Waliullah, surfaced on social media.
The certificate proves that Sanjana voluntarily converted to Islam without any external pressure. It was issued on the basis of an affidavit submitted by the court. It also has her signature, address, and phone numbers of the two witnesses, named Imtiaz and Aslam Pasha. She was also granted a certificate by the Karnataka Shariah Department.
