Pakistani singer Sara Raza Khan Reveals how Mahesh Bhatt made her quit Indian singing show ‘Surkshetra’
Pakistani contestant, Nabeel Shaukat Ali, was crowned the winner of the Indo-Pak Musical series - Sur Kshetra.
Sara Raza Khan is a Pakistani singer from Lahore, who started her singing career in 2009 with the television program Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge. Sara was also the winner of the Pakistani reality show Bright Star.
The 24-year-old singer has sung numerous title tracks for various Pakistani dramas and movies and won an award for the OST of Meray Qatil Meray Dildar.
A few years ago, Khan also participated in the singing talent program SurKshetra between the arch-rivals Pakistan and India. The Indian Singer Hamish Rishmia represented participants from India, whereas Pakistani singer Atif Aslam represented Pakistani participants. Pakistani contestant, Nabeel Shaukat Ali, was crowned the winner of the Indo-Pak Musical series – Sur Kshetra.
Sara Raza Khan was one of the Pakistani participants who earned a lot of love and respect for her booming voice and the character of her tone. However, all of a sudden, she left the show without even sharing the reason.
Recently, Khan took her to Facebook and finally spoke up about it.
“Hundreds of People asked me why I Left Surkshetra? I remained silent, and I guess I was waiting… Then I got this viral video & Allah ALMIGHTY REVEALED it all so that even a child can understand it …(Haq Haq hai ) (Truth will remain the Truth ) Allah made us all realize that we should never try to use our position for favoring something wrong ! MAY ALLAH BLESS US ALL.”
