Saudi Arabia Extends Umrah Visa From One To Three Months
Pilgrims visiting Saudi Arabia for umrah will now be able to stay in the kingdom for up to three months following the extension in the Umrah visa. The facility is for the people of all nationalities
According to Saudi Arabia’s Minister for Hajj and Umrah Dr Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, earlier the Umrah pilgrims were allowed to stay in the kingdom for a time period of a month, which has now been extended. The Minister made this announcement during his two-day visit to Uzbekistan.
He added that the online platform ‘Nusuk’ has been launched to make the process of issuance of visa easy.
The Saudi Press Agency in a statement said that overseas pilgrims can get permits for Umrah and prayer in the Grand Mosque, as well as for visiting the Prophet’s Mosque through ‘Eatmarna’ and ‘Tawakkalna’ Applications.
