SECP to offer Business care solution to users in the form of WhatsApp Channel

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has introduced a WhatsApp Channel for Business Care to promptly respond to public queries regarding the incorporation of companies. According to experts, the WhatsApp helpline number is a first-of-its-kind service in Pakistan’s public sector.

Why did SECP introduce the WhatsApp Channel service?

The WhatsApp Channel is part of SECP’s ongoing efforts to provide convenience to the general public users about the provision of information. According to a statement released by the organization, the SECP is also planning to add more avenues to the business care solution by integrating its E-Services system. The new system features will enable users to check the status of their E-Services and provide the facility to lodge and check the status of their complaints from the WhatsApp platform.

Users can access the service in two simple steps:
