Session Court Hafizabad awards death penalty to a father for raping his own daughter

The district and session court in Hafizabad, Punjab, held the hearing of the case in which a man named Nasir Ali was accused of raping his own daughter.

On November 25, the paternal grandfather of the victim registered a complaint to his own son for raping his granddaughter consecutively for the last 6 months.
During the court hearing, the police presented the medical reports of the victim, which verified the presence of semen of the father in the daughter’s body. Hence, it proved the sexual abuse of his father not only once but multiple times to her own daughter.
On the other hand, the culprit kept denying the accusations and claimed it was a trap planned by his father to get possession of his cattle. However, the judge didn’t give any attention to his claims after the medical reports proved his heinous crime.
The judge of the session court in Hafizabad showed no leniency in punishing the culprit and announced an immediate death penalty along with a fine of 0.5 million.
