Although people are not yet done criticizing Shahroz Sabzwari for his second marriage with Sadaf Kanwal, the actor has once again landed himself in another controversy.

Hamza Ali Abbasi’s tweet about not needing a Messiah, Imam, or Murshid to learn the religion when we have the ‘Quran’ has been going viral and people including celebrities, are responding differently to it.

Hamza further added in his tweet that all we need are ‘good teachers’. In a reply to his tweet, someone said that after Prophet (PBUH), they are ‘free’ from flaws and are guided by the angels. To this, Abbasi replied:

Shahroz Sabzwari indirectly responded to the tweet as well but it seems like he misunderstood the point of Abbasi’s tweet, which is evident from his response.

Shahroz replied by sharing his own personal views. He said that he cannot understand why people act as ‘Thaikhaydaar’ of Islam. According to Shahroz, a guide and a Murshid’s company are needed to bring someone towards the straight path. For him, the Prophet (PBUH) is the religion.

In addition to this, Shahroz said that to attain the ‘true spirit’ of Islam and to promote the message of love, a guide is needed. For him, one cannot find religion without a Murshid.

Shahroz misinterpreted Hamza’s meaning of a ‘teacher’ despite Abbasi’s post being very clear and it seems like he’ll have to face the backlash yet again.
