The Renowned anchorperson - Shahzeb Khanzada - has raised questions over PM Khan's tall claims of accountability.
Prime Minister Imran Khan‘s whole election campaign had been about the accountability of corrupt politicians and bringing the “looted money back to Pakistan.”
After getting elected as the 22nd Prime Minister of Pakistan, he reiterated his promise of across-the-board accountability. In the three years of his government, a number of Pakistani politicians were jailed and now the majority of them are out on bail.
The Renowned anchorperson – Shahzeb Khanzada – has raised questions over PM Khan’s tall claims of accountability. Khanzada shared a timeline of the Prime Minister’s claims with video clips.
“The government is claiming that the NAB cases against opposition members will be decided. The opposition members who are out on bail will be back in jail before election 2023,” Shahzeb Khanzada said.
“The opposition is pretty sure that the situation is no longer the same. All the representatives of the opposition are out on bail and neither any corruption accusations have been proven,” Shahzeb Khanzada added.
The Geo News anchor further stated that there is no progress in the PTI government’s promise of bringing the looted money back to Pakistan. Moreover, he also said that there is no accusation of corruption and the taking of looted money abroad in the NAB cases, which the government claims would send the opposition members to jail before the election in 2023.
