Shocking revelations by ETO Lahore who led the raid on cafe Aylanto
Last year in Lahore, two lac eleven thousand bottles of alcohol were sold alone in July said, ETO.

On Saturday night, a famous café located at MM Alam road ‘Aylanto’ was sealed for serving alcohol.
The ETO Lahore Masood Bashir Warraich who led the raid reveal some shocking revelations while talking to a local TV channel.
During his interview, he said being a government servant, “whatever we do we follow the law”.
In response to a question, ETO said that he already had information about the Aylanto, but intended to raid only after he got orders from the commissioner office Lahore.
He further said that he headed the operation without any help from the police department. He along with AC and his team of Excise and Taxation Department on the night of Saturday conducted a raid on Aylanto café and sealed the café for illegally serving alcohol.
According to ETO, numerous bottles of alcohol were recovered from the storage room of the restaurant.
He further stated that when I took the charge of ETO Lahore I came across some embarrassing facts that alcohol is delivered to houses and places through rickshaws and motorbikes.

In 2018, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) member of the National Assembly (MNA) Dr. Ramesh Kumar had said, “strict laws should be imposed to ban sale of alcohol in the country”.
