From journalism to hosting some hot talk shows and directing the movies, Lucman’s experience reflects his qualities.
Coming from a family that has previously served the country in Pakistan army, Mubashir himself always has expressed his determination to serve the people of this country.
His charity work can well evince his efforts. He sang a song with the young sensation Aima Baig to raise funds for Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital.

Career And Association With Media
Lucman started his career as a film producer back in 2006 with the movie ‘Pehla Pehla Pyar.’
He formally initiated his career in journalism from making his first experience in Business Plus as a news anchor.
Lucman showcased his caliber by hosting his first show ‘’Khari Baat Lucman Kay Saath’’ on Dunya News in 2009.
In 2012, Mubashir Dunya News after Malik Riaz Controversy. He then conquered the new challenges in his professional life with Ary News, where he hosted the show ‘Khara Sach.’ This talk show held immense popularity due to confessions and expositions made during it.
Due to his blunt remarks and uncompromisingly forthright words, Khara Sach was banned by PEMRA.
However, he won the case and later resigned from ARY. He contributed to BOL TV with his program ‘’Meri Jang’’. However, due to the consequences and ban imposed on the channel by PEMRA, Lucman left it after a short while.
He is currently working with Channel 24, hosting the show ‘’Khara Sach’’.
In a country like Pakistan, where every institution is politicized, Lucman preserves the essence of real ‘influence free’ journalism. Due to his exemplary achievements, Mubashir also won a number of awards including the Sitara-e-Imtiaz, Rumi Award, and Agahi Award.
With his strong profile, Mubahir Lucman is regarded as one of the most credible investigative journalists of the region.
