Sindh Education Department suspends Larkana teacher for allegedly kidnapping and marrying a matric student

According to media reports, a Larkana teacher was suspended by the Sindh Education Department on Friday for his passionate involvement with a minor student. Sources state that the authorities suspended the teacher for initiating a romantic relationship with his student and then marrying her.

Student’s Parents have a Different Story to Tell

Savera Masan was a matriculation student studying in the Government High School at Bada city in district Larkana. Ghulam Qadir Solangi was a teacher at the same institute. While sources stated that the two were involved in a romantic relationship and married willingly, the student’s parents have a different story to tell.

The parents of Savera Mason alleged that the teacher kidnapped their daughter against her will and forcefully married her. The mother and father took to the Sindh Education Department authorities to file a complaint against the teacher, Ghulam Qadir Solangi.

Following the complaint, Ghulam Qadir Solangi was temporarily suspended from the Government High School, Bada, Larkana. It is pertinent to mention that the Sindh Education Department has launched an inquiry into the matter. Authorities are currently examining the validity of the claims made by the parents to shift the teacher’s suspension from temporary to permanent.

Note: This is a developing story. Any progress made in the inquiry or case will be updated timely.
