‘Stop being Phupho’: Sarfaraz Ahmed’s wife defends her husband following viral video

Pakistan’s wicket-keeper batter and former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed’s wife – Khushbakht – has come out in the defense of her husband following a viral video. Just recently, a video of the former captain from an interview had gone viral.

During the interview, Safaraz Ahmed talked about the time when his wife advised him to focus on his performance following his poor form against South Africa.

In response, the wicket keeper batter scolded her and told her to mind her own business. “Stop trying to become my coach,” Sarfaraz Ahmed said he had told his wife.

After the video went viral, the Champions Trophy winning captain was bashed on social media. Some social media users called him a misogynist. Now, his wife his come out in her husband’s defense.

Khushbakht took to her Twitter and called out social media pages for calling Sarfaraz Ahmed a misogynist. She asked them to “Stop being phupho.”

“To all the social media pages, calling him misogynistic and rude! He takes huge pride that we have witnessed our bestest days together! There are more moments I can share. Lakin Sumjh dar k liye Ishara hi kafi hai, ” Khushbakht wrote on Twitter.
