According to media reports, citing sources, PML N and its allies will stay in a hotel near the Lahore Airport until tomorrow. The arrival of the MPAs at the hotel has already begun and Hamza Shehbaz will lead them to the provincial assembly on election day.
PML N candidate for the CM Punjab election – Hamza Shehbaz – will hold a meeting before travelling to the assembly. He has directed his members to reach the Punjab assembly in groups as they fear clashing with the rival PTI MPAs and leaders.
They have been further directed to leave no stone unturned in keeping the atmosphere charged by shouting slogans against PTI chief Imran Khan. The ruling party’s strategy to elect Hamza Shehbaz as the CM Punjab is to stop PTI MPAs from reaching the assembly.
It should be noted that the tomorrow’s election is a runoff election, which means only those members present in the hall will be counted. On the other hand, PML N leader and federal minister Rana SanaUllah has said that if some of the members of the PTI doesn’t show up at the Punjab assembly, they will comfortably win the election.
