Netizens have been disgusted after some online retailers put up for sale a T-shirt showing Afghans falling to death from a US evacuation plane.

Thousands of Afghans gathered at the Kabul airport earlier this week in a bid to flee the country, following the Taliban’s military takeover.

In a harrowing video from the airport on Monday, hundreds of people were seen running alongside a US Air Force plane as it gathered speed on the runway — several men were seen desperately holding onto both sides.

Later disturbing clips appeared on social media where two people were seen falling to their deaths after the plane took off.

Following this, the US military confirmed that Human remains were later found in a wheel well.

However, some profiteers find it a great opportunity to make money and put up clothes for sale online that appeared to mock the Afghans who died falling from the plane.

The offensive T-shirt is painted with the text “Kabul Skydiving Club Est. 2021” and features the silhouette of a military aircraft and two people plummeting from it.

The shirt surfaced on several online clothing stores. One of the shops was also selling the apparel available for both men and women in various colors.

Shocked by T-shirt images, social media users called Etsy, the parent e-commerce platform, to take down the post, with one Twitter user calling it a “disgusting way of making money.”

After the backlash, the brand selling the tee removed the advertisement ad. However, similar apparel was still available on various websites, including TopTeeTrend, Gebli, and TShirtAtLowPrice.
