T20 World Cup: Aakash Chopra names his Pakistan XI against India
The Cricketer-turned-expert picked Babar Azam and Muhammad Rizwan as the opening pair.
Cricketer-turned-expert Aakash Chopra has named his Pakistan’s playing XI for their match against India. The two arch-rivals will start their campaign on Sunday in Dubai. Tickets for the much-awaited game have already been sold out.
Both India and Pakistan are starting the tournament among the favourites to left the trophy. Pakistan has performed extraordinarily well in the T20 format over the years.
Although, the Men in Green lost their second warm-up match against South Africa but they put a strong show with the bat. Unfortunately, the Pakistani bowlers had an off-day and the Protease chased the target in the last over.
Just a few days before the Pakistan and India clash, Aakash Chopra has named the playing XI he thinks Pakistan should go with. The Cricketer-turned-expert picked Babar Azam and Muhammad Rizwan as the opening pair. They both are in sublime form in the T20 format.
Chopra feels Pakistan should send Fakhar Zaman, who scored 52 in the warm-up match against South Africa, at one down.
The former Indian cricketer also picked the experienced duo of Shoaib Malik and Muhammad Hafeez in the middle order. Besides Muhammad Hafeez, Aaskash Chopra also picked three more all-rounders in his line-up, Mohammad Nawaz, Shadab Khan and Imad Wasim. He picked Hasan Ali, Haris Rauf and Shaheen Shah Afridi as his fast bowling options.
